Methods of Activating a Visa Card

Below are the 3 ways to activate your Visa cards

Activation via Phone Call (Offline)

To activate a visa card via phone call is often referred to as the offline method as you do not require an internet device to do so.

1. Contact the phone number written on the Visa card, (it is normally located at the back) in a situation where the card doesn’t have a customer care phone number, simply contact your bank of issuer and complain.
2. You will be required to provide your card details like, (card number, CVV, card expiry date for confirmation) for replaced card sometimes you are asked to use the previous pin.

Activating a Visa card with your bank

1. You bank representative will ask you to slot you card into a POS machine

1. Slot the card into the ATM
2. Select your preferred language.
3. Select card activation option and input pin sent to your phone followed by you default pin (for replaced cards)
